It's my view coalition work mitigates the homophobia & backlash we'd otherwise see. It forces people to throw their combined strength behind an approach that doesn't, say, throw butch lesbians & GNC people under the bus. Or endanger fundamental employment/housing/human rights.

Why would they ask someone like Hibbs et al to endorse it in the first place? Why is this question seen as problematic or broadly anti-Christian or anti-conservative? To take just one example, the activist Rob Smith is a conservative gay man who wouldn't espouse extremist views.

#Catholic church has an intellectual legacy several miles/eras long, and the official view of the church is that no one can change sex. Yet no priests will *dare* say this in public... contrast this with the anti-abortion nonsense they say day-in and day-out. Suspicious.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better.
