Why not be transparent re: views on homosexuality espoused by Minnesota Family Council (branch of Family Policy Alliance, political arm of Focus on the Family). MFC holds copyright to Kelsey guidelines, is referenced as key resource in appendix, & its site is clear on those views

Haven't we explained why that might be? It's not just "listing sites"--it's that all messaging points back to orgs who aim to remove legal protections for LGB. They make no secret of that mission; on the contrary, their efforts past & present focus on that https://familypolicyalliance.com/issues/sexuality/sexual-orientation/ …

The obvious slant of the guide makes it harder, not easier, to build bridges to liberal & centrist teachers, school officials, medical professionals, and parents who will recoil at these views. It didn't have to be this way. Why was it so important to center FPC & the like?
-
They are hoping to use gender-critical folks and traumatized parents as pawns to fuel their intelligence-gathering toward future attacks on (nominal) supporters of gender-nonconformity, particularly teh gayz. They would kill select feminists were it legal.

1/ A better question would be, why are WoLF the only people on the left speaking up against surgical and pharmacological abuse of disabled and gay young people in the name of pseudoscience? FPA does not condone electroshock to my knowledge, and if you have info otherwise show it

2/ Also please clarify what is meant by holding copyright to Kelsey policies. As I understand, copyright to written material belongs to the party that writes it. Policy on the other hand (Kelsey's is to protect children from medical exploitation) is not copyrighted.

4th Wave seems to have put its hatred of "the right" (and its need to mis-apply that term to anyone it disagrees with) before the greater good of fighting harmful gender ideology. It's a hard fall, and I'm sad to see it happen.
-
Incorrect, & misses the point. We don't "hate" anyone. It's about trying to have a rational convo about ORGs whose entire mission has been built around anti-LGB rhetoric & policy. It's sad to us that some refuse to see the problem with that--& we are far from alone in seeing it.

4/ Meanwhile, if 4th Wave and others are going to insist on labeling as "the right" nonpartisan groups like Kelsey and PROGD or leftist groups like WoLF, so be it. It will just lend credence to the public perception that there is no sane voice on the left.
