First, the medical system in the UK is nothing like in the US (in any way). Second, I'd recommend interacting with some of the (mainly) detrans women on here, ask them about their experiences at clinics. BTW haven't see any of them trying to ban transition for anyone.

Lots of ppl have a stake in the convo. Nearly everyone feels/felt threatened or wounded on some level, and people differ in what happened to them and what they think should happen going forward. It's like we need some ambassadors to cross the battle lines,

Honestly presented differing views & experiences are a good thing. If you think your "opponent" is a bad-faith actor who means to harm others, that's one thing. But if you think your "opponent" is a human being who wants to MINIMIZE harm (as you do), then it's easier to listen.

Have to go soon, but want to say: We've been sparring, but I appreciate that this has been pretty civil.

We agree "false positives" are not a good thing for anyone. The increase in girls/young women transitioning FTM has increased. Some of those females have desisted/detransitioned, & some do talk about social contagion & other issues that were factors. They're worth listening to.
