Some parents reach out to detransitioners for help w/their kids, but it's not their job (or their expertise). Also not every detransitioner is a regretter. Parents want an answer, a formula, a set of bullet points. But it's never one-size-fits-all. The waiting can feel intolerable, but it's unavoidable, existential. Ultimately the decision will be made by the young person themselves--hopefully w/a dash of parental wisdom in the mix.
