Pregnancy, nursing, giving birth reduced to a "gendered role," vs a uniquely female physical reality, while the angst of "navigating" that reality is all that matters to US newspapers--along w/trans kid puff pieces which seldom mention the sterilization of those kids.

There have been tough, no-nonsense WOMEN giving birth & raising kids for centuries. Our foremothers were not all delicate flowers on fainting couches. Even today some women work hard until the moment they give birth. The idea that it's all some hyper-feminized "role" is pure BS.
