Captured beautifully. Thanks so much
@LisaMarchiano and@4th_WaveNow . Appreciated more than you know. Waiting is one of the hardest parts. Hugs to all fellow ROGD parents! -
Hugs back to you as well. There are far too many of us.

"You wait for therapists and doctors to realize that we are living through another mental health contagion such as we saw with multiple personality disorder in the 90s."

I am so glad my daughter was a little too old to get caught up in any of this. There were problems with PMDD so I understand the worry about mental health issues as do other parents but gender was never an issue thank God (and I'm an atheist).

Thank you, Lisa, and thank you, 4thWaveNow. Initially I know my daughter wasn't sure, but then she turned for help to a psychologist who specializes in gender, who immediately affirmed a trans-id I anxiously await the return of psychology to the psychology profession.

This really is the seminal piece of writing on what it means to be an ROGD parent.

I'm grateful my parents were around when I needed them but essentially I am grateful they told me to amuse myself as I grew up. They gave me resilience.

Those of us who have watched children suddenly shift within the course of a few weeks, and suddenly KNOW they will never be happy unless they start cross hormones, cut off their breasts or penis, wear a binder and packer........yes. It's a contagion. The kids teach each other.
