OK, clearly we need some kind of organization to defend people in this situation. One not dominated by rightwingers. They can donate money.
Just having an org with a name that sends a person to in this case NBC would help.

But there's nothing medical involved surely. Arent they just going to be " socially transitioned" meaning no drugs or surgery? Looks a lot like propaganda

Thought experiment: A child is endorsed from toddlerhood in notion that they are "in the wrong body," are "really" the opposite sex. How likely will they be to go down the medical road in the future? (Hint: We already know social transition makes medical transition more likely.)

If they showed signs is it shocking they'd eventually transition more likely?

Signs of what? Until recently, it was understood that many of those children might grow up to be gay. They weren't defined as "transgender" & literally the opposite sex. As in, they were left alone. Transition was seen as an adult decision. Kids were left out of it.

But they would have still been allowed to wear the other gender's clothes being gay yes?

Some parents would allow that, some wouldn't...homophobic parents probably not (and some of them would rather have a "straight" trans kid than a gay one).
