Honest question for those who say young kids' behavior is largely the result of socialization: How do you explain the detransitioned butch lesbians who talk about heavy disapproval they faced as tots for their "masculine" behaviors? Who socialized them to be so gender atypical?

Most children settle into same sexed social groups and increasingly so as they grow up through primary school. Perhaps it is more seeking only friendships with the opposite sex that really galvanises the non-conforming (to gendered expectations) behaviour in those who are L&G?
