Honest question for those who say young kids' behavior is largely the result of socialization: How do you explain the detransitioned butch lesbians who talk about heavy disapproval they faced as tots for their "masculine" behaviors? Who socialized them to be so gender atypical?
The discussion isn't about the disapproval--it's about whether there is anything innate about gender-atypical behavior, and why. See thread.

The nature-nurture question is a bit of a red-herring, IMO.We certainly can see nature at work, but we also know now that even dormant genes can be turned on because of nurture (environment and socialization). Both are at play, but we only have a semblance of control over nurture.
