Honest question for those who say young kids' behavior is largely the result of socialization: How do you explain the detransitioned butch lesbians who talk about heavy disapproval they faced as tots for their "masculine" behaviors? Who socialized them to be so gender atypical?

Agree, but when some behaviors are closely in line with our closest DNA relatives (chimps/bonobos), it seems plausible to posit some degree of innateness...

yes, when i was uni in the late 70s there were still people telling me that animals did not have emotions, while it was obvious that social/ pack animals shared our social emotions, and darwin's first book was on the similarity of expression of emotions in mammals
