1/It seems to me, and you can correct me if I am wrong. You seem to support medical transitioning of children in "some cases", you say. Adults make mistakes with this left and right. But it's okay for children/adolescents? 0-21? Be clear.

Thread. 1. 4thWaveNow has published a substantial body of work over the last 4.5 years. We suggest you read through those articles. If you do, our “position” couldn't be more obvious: We seriously question pediatric/teen/young adult (under 25) transition.

6. A return what we had only a few short years ago—when underage transitions were very rare and desistance from trans identity was seen as the best outcome—would be a success in the world we live in today. We don't think lifelong patient-hood is the optimum outcome for anyone.

7. We are STRONGLY opposed to the ever-lowering age for hormones and surgeries we are seeing with "affirmative care," especially in the US and Canada. This ought to be patently obvious from our work over the last 4.5 years.

10. We rarely block on Twitter, but have done so sparingly—a few TRAs, and a few others who simply cannot accept that we will not cave to their demands that we do our work in ways we don’t believe is in the best interests of what we are trying to achieve.
