When WPATH Chapter leads say stuff like this, how much hope is there that the next Standards of Care (8) will take seriously the needs of detransitioners/desisters, particularly those who may have regrets about their former trans identification?

transitioning is skyrocketing... at a time when real feminism has become demonised & dismissed as no longer necessary. Not a coincidental situation. There is no value in genuine Trans denying a clear trend in identifying as. Ultimately there is/will be backlash. -

IDK how common it is, but I've read a couple accounts by detransitioners who stated that their attempts to get help detransitioning ended w/ being sent back to their "gender clinician" who was no help, & attempted to convince them not to detransition.
