Has anyone *ever* seen a journalist connect these two dots?: o "Trans kids" who go on blockers, followed by cross-sex hormones, are permanently sterilized; o Isn't it cool that trans men can get pregnant and have their own biological children?https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/special-reports/article228875624.html …

Exactly how is it that a female can be horribly dysphoric (in the above article, since at least age 12 ("it was hell") yet somehow survive puberty, go on T, and happily reproduce later, thanks to a body that wasn't sterilized?

Before somebody jumps in to claim puberty-blocked kids who go straight to cross-sex hormones AREN'T permanently sterilized, read this thread. Even prominent gender doctors don't deny it.https://twitter.com/4th_WaveNow/status/1119978084499894272 …

Thread: Among many other things, Stanford pediatric endocrinologist Tandy Aye says it's good to perform genital surgery on under-18 adolescents because they've already been sterilized by puberty blockers followed by cross-sex hormones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L240CPOJ6FM&feature=youtu.be …Show this thread1 reply 13 retweets 32 likesShow this thread
We challenge a journalist to tackle the complexities of this thorny conundrum: We must must must puberty block then provide T to girls (sterilizing them), but only unsterilized trans men get to bear their own biological children. Anyone?
