Read it again. They’re a straight trans man, who realised the label of butch lesbian didn’t fit *their own understanding* of themselves, not anyone else’s expectations of them, and they’re happier like this, and they wish stigma of trans folk wasn’t an issue in their profession.

Because you entered into a conversation that didn’t have anything to do with you to spread scary and untrue stories of science experiments on children as a rebuke to someone advocating acceptance of people you seem to dislike. I’m not the antagonist here.

No, I dismiss them as untrue as I seriously question the validity of the whistleblowers, and know that it’s incredibly difficult to access non-medical trans care as an adult, let alone as a child, let alone medical trans care as a child with homophobic parents.

And ask @thehomoarchy about her efforts to discuss the issue of young pre-lesbians (too young to realize their sexual orientation) wrongly going through transition--and how little the doctors/therapists in the US (UK Tavistock clinicians seem to get it) seem to care about this.
