5-year (2015-2020) $5.7 million NIH-funded study, medical interventions on trans-identified children. Olson-Kennedy is principal investigator, with three other centers participating. JOK has already published a study with children as young as 12 on cross-sex hormones.pic.twitter.com/yPoUqKkLFu

Do you have the F3a Human Subjects form that is referenced? That should outline the potential harms of the earlier cross-sex hormones and will give further info on how to push back. Not including all the potential harms to research subjects is a serious violation.

Thank you for using the phrase "cross-sex hormones" rather than HRT. Cross-sex hormone treatment (CSHT) is a radically different thing than replacement therapies sometimes used on older adults, particularly when used with pediatric patients. CSHT ≠ HRT. Call it what it is.

Fucking hell, my child is 8, there's no way she could understand the long term consequences of this. 8 year olds just don't think that far ahead (not that 13 year olds do either but damn, 8??!)

The mother's own words: "I’m a strong, spirit-filled, Bible-believing, born-again Christian. I’m a Republican." Her kid socially transitioned from male to female at age 4.https://www.texasobserver.org/texas-talks-back-trans-discrimination-shappleys/ …
