This is chilling. Is the research fraudulent? If not, you are engaging in propaganda tactics by silencing it.

"Fradulent" would imply that they made up or manipulated their data. That's not what happened here - the data is fine, but Littman reached conclusions that weren't supported by that data. That's just bad science, hence the note PLOS is adding, but it's not necessarily fraud.

Show me the conclusions not supported by the data. I'll wait.

It’s.... all right there in the words. You just need to read it. This was a correction, not a retraction. Relax.

"The republication is accompanied by a ***Correction notice*** where the author of the study, Dr Littman, explains these revisions in more detail and provides further clarification regarding the study design and other concerns raised."

Quote what was conclusion was corrected. Go ahead.

Not that simple; the correction, if you read it, is more about addressing overreach in the certitude applied to their findings. Given the way the data was collected and the limited scope of the said data, there is a corresponding limited range WRT the conclusions that can be made

If you wish to examine this for yourself, the original study, far from being "silenced" as you call it is reprinted concurrent with the correction. https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0214157 …

I read it. It is no different from any other qualitative analysis of a medical condition or social phenomenon. Which is why the journal didn't correct anything.
