But again you’re saying protecting them. Wouldn’t it be more effective to educate the parents? Wouldn’t it be more productive to have a conversation than coming off like a “my way or the highway”. And I’m not saying you specifically. In general.

Not all parents there, and I would wager few parents there, are the ones you’re talking about. But the feeling of being able to talk freely about serious things with our children is now gone. For all parents. Not just those that might need “protection”

While everyone in the group may not agree w/ the more bizarre opinions expressed, this stands out: Such convos show most commenters agree, no moderator is called in to intervene--but mods ARE called for "wrongthink" (like asking mild questions about ROGD).https://twitter.com/4th_WaveNow/status/1106335381396615169 …

This kind of demonization (and frankly defamation) is promoted by the people who run the group. @BJontry as you know was a former member of your group who was banned for trying to start a reasonable discussion.pic.twitter.com/0E52Uld0BF

I agree personally I would have posted your website if you have one or a link to your group and had people do their own research. Still doesn’t make what you did right. And two wrongs don’t make a right either.

According to @BJontry , links to 4thwavenow are banned, even when they are chock-full of original source material or written by researchers. This may have to do with the fact that certain trans activists are MEMBERS of your group who quash any and all info but "affirmative" care.

We are not the first to point out activists in your group. Jen Burleton knew about the original ROGD study & encouraged parents to take it in a way that might skew Littman's results.
@lubelluledotcom wrote about it in@Quillette . Is this healthy?https://twitter.com/4th_WaveNow/status/1053307403859517440 …4thWaveNow added,
4thWaveNow @4th_WaveNowIn@QuilletteM today, an important revelation: A large FB group of "affirmative" parents were fully aware of Lisa Littman's ROGD survey study, putting the lie to the accusation that only ROGD-skeptical parents had a chance to participate. /1 https://quillette.com/2018/10/18/trans-activists-campaign-against-terfs-has-become-an-attack-on-science/ … pic.twitter.com/HCUjvcUXHvShow this thread1 reply 3 retweets 7 likes -

So you don’t believe all opinions should be included?
1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
They SHOULD be included, but Burleton, Tannehill, & others have been on a defamation campaign vs. Littman since she published, claiming only "unsupportive" parents knew about/took the survey.Since Burleton's call was in your closed group, it took a journalist to expose the truth.

Posts requesting polls or data sourcing are against group guidelines. If it were posted there, it would have been removed promptly for that reason.
