Personally, based on my involvement, I would not say that’s a fair assessment. I don’t think it’s fair to say that SRS is promoted. My daughter came out 6 years ago and is now 21 and doesn’t talk about SRS often. It’s not her highest priority.

And it should be about being comfortable in their own skin. For some that might mean SRS. For others hormone therapy. But it doesn’t mean we should ignore that some of our kids are trans and want them to just suck it up and be okay as you are. There is no black and white
