If I could have managed to conform then I would have tbh- so what drove my non-conformity other than something biological? I'm not saying trans is biological but I think my masculinity was at least in part biology tbh.

But that misses the part of the puzzle where I wanted to conform and I really really tried to but was incapable of doing so- why? Why was I incapable?

I seem to have been handed a series of rather unfortunate psychological traits tbh- namely, the desire to fit in along with an inability to do so- this may go some way to explaining GD tbh.

I just think if my brain was entirely plastic and if my personality were entirely the result of social conditioning- then given the massive pressure I faced to conform and my desire to fit in- then I would have wound up quite "feminine".

It's unfortunate that in some strains of feminism, there is a rigid adherence to the idea that all gendered behavior is socially constructed. It's ideological and totally ignores a large body of evidence.
