Ideally, "more research" on ROGD would include interviewing young people who fit the rapid-onset profile along with a holistic examination of them: prior mental health issues, peer influence, family member insights, etc. /4

Yeah, something tells me they aren't too interested in talking to those young people, though.https://twitter.com/dogcalledbambi/status/1083861881658490880 …

Zinnia and crew have spent so much time decrying that ROGD doesn't exist, it's highly unlikely that they'd suddenly come to their senses and learn from desisters/detransitioners who confirm that it does.

In contrast, those who've observed or lived ROGD don't deny the existence of other kinds of gender dysphoria. But ZJ and acolytes screech and screech that ROGD "doesn't exist", while studiously ignoring those who say they experienced it. No bias there.

On one side people admit to there being different kinds of gender dysphoria, requiring different kinds of treatment. But Zinnia et al seem to desperately cling to the idea that there are no distinctions and attempt to discredit all contradictory research/researchers.

Yo, I've literally pointed out at length that late-onset gender dysphoria is already a thing that's been recognized for decades, and that late-onset dysphoria in adolescent AFABs has been covered in previous literature.https://genderanalysis.net/2018/12/lisa-littman-cites-edwards-leeper-spack-2012-in-her-rapid-onset-gender-dysphoria-study-but-did-she-read-it/ …

We know you think Blanchard is the Devil Incarnate, but we'll defer to his decades of research over your ROGD-IS-NOT-A-THING!!!https://twitter.com/BlanchardPhD/status/1083381311182651392 …

Ray Blanchard @BlanchardPhDThe phrase "rapid onset gender dysphoria" is necessary to denote the sudden appearance of trans ideation in teens exposed to trans peers on-line or at school. "Late-onset" has been used for decades to denote slow-growing gender dysphoria that manifests to others in adulthood.4 replies 3 retweets 3 likes -

Also, we noticed you and your team of experts ignore (every time) actual women who say they had ROGD.https://twitter.com/dogcalledbambi/status/1083861739261825025 …

But hey, just keep coming into our threads trumpeting your moral & scientific superiority. We'll still be over here, talking about the impact of extremist trans activism on girls & women. And to the extent you attack them and us, we'll talk about you too. https://4thwavenow.com/2018/01/18/i-hated-her-guts-at-the-time-a-trans-desister-and-her-mom-tell-their-story/ …pic.twitter.com/qPQP6Ny5uT

With every tweet, every blog post you produce smearing us, our families, and the one researcher who dared to BEGIN to study what's happening to so many females, you reveal your own character--and show why we say MTF activists like you haven't a clue about the female experience.

Here's the "researcher" whose work families, dysphoric young people, and others affected by ROGD should trust as entirely unbiased and compassionate.pic.twitter.com/1HDxYpgm7x
