Commenter in this thread asks, "Why doesn't she purchase TSA pre-screen?" Excellent question. Complainer says this happens "every time." Perhaps ranting on Twitter to a huge audience is the real point here, not solving the problem in a way that respects *everyone's* dignity?

Absolutely. They want to be seen as brave (and stunning).

If they hire trans 'women' will female passengers be forced to accept a pat down from them or risk losing a flight?
-
If activists weren't so self-centered and constantly focused on "validation" from everyone, they'd understand that trans women would only pat down other trans women. But you're right--that solution would be a slippery slope, to passengers being orced to "validate" TSA MTF agents.

On the contrary, when airlines sell you a service, you do have a right to it and their procedures must respect your dignity. When you opt to work as a guard, on the other hand, you do have a right to health and safety, but not to endless preferences on whom you will search.

There simply is no right to choose who you pat down as a guard. If you can not touch a person of the opposite sex because you're Orthodox Muslim or Pussy Church or whatever, don't be a guard.
