It's difficult to find the reported tweet, though, because the original thread (it was responding to) appears to have vanished. So here it is again.https://twitter.com/4th_WaveNow/status/1076564007081766912 …

Isn't it interesting that *someone* objected to us pointing to the inconvenient truth: Gender atypical behavior in early childhood is correlated w/later homosexuality. Who wants to hush that up? Here's the mildly-stated conclusion to the article *someone* doesn't want you to see.pic.twitter.com/xsKPydcUAF
A genuine question. As being gay is linked to certain behaviour, does that indicate that being gay (or not gay) goes beyond just a mere attraction to a certain type of body?
My point was that it says that certain behaviour increases the chance of a teenager becoming gay or lesbian.
There are no characteristics that are universal among gay people beyond the sex of the bodies they are attracted to.
The original tweet inctated possible markers of a higher rate of being gay. As I said, well outside my expertise.
I get that but the answer is still no. If, to pick a spurious eg, all gay men liked cats not digs, or a similar universal phenomenon, we could say there is more to being gay than just the physical aspect. It's different for each person, the sex part being the only commonality.
Statistical averages are not "universal phenomena," nor do they say anything about individuals. The study Prof. Biggs wrote about points out that a significant # of gender-atypical tots (NOT all) grow up to be LG. No one is saying ALL such kids become LG. Please read the article.
