This is the pathetic state of US "journalism" on trans issues. The UK puts us to shame in that regard--which is ironic, given our First Amendment and supposed commitment to investigative reporting. Who exactly is it who won't allow the truth to be revealed to US citizens? https://twitter.com/cats_owl/status/1076646135282847745 …

We've only quite recently seen the Press tackle the trans lobby. Some big name hard hitters have gotten on board now though & the truth is all coming to light. The dominoes are falling everywhere now. Unstoppable.

You know editors at the New York Times, WaPo, etc read the UK press--probably every day. Their complete refusal to cover the growing controversy is deliberate.

The dam will break though. We had willful blindness from the Press for way too long as well but a (very) few influential journalists have turned that around. When they see which way the wind's blowing - and how hard lol - on your side of the pond I think they'll change too.

We've had a veritable hurricane blowing in the US for years. Some journos have wanted to cover but get spiked at 11th hour by editors. Janice Turner said (at her award ceremony) recently that she was grateful her editor/publication have her back. That's what's lacking here.
