But seeing as you are appalled by an organisation that provides advice on and resources for safe binding, I suspect you don't actually have the individual's wellbeing in mind at all. I suspect you know no one who actually binds and have spent little time with trans people.

Desisters who were supported fully by parents (but not endorsed that their bodies were wrong) would also be studied by ethical investigators. They matter too, no matter what the overall rate of desistance turns out to be (only to be known via longterm longitudinal studies).

Do you know of anyone in your field who intends to study that population? Not only parents, but desisters/detransitioners have been clamoring for it. You can't blame them for interpreting the lack of interest expressed by affirmative researchers as a lack of caring.

Hellooooo! Why do you think I started following y’all & talking with James? But if everyone who is perceived as the enemy gets insulted from the first word, there’s not much opportunity for anything else is there?

Actually what happened is you jumped in the binder thread with one tweet about suicidality. This is what people were reacting to. Try to understand that.

But that’s where we (the royal we) are at. It may be provocative to you, but it shouldn’t be ignored... just as desisters shouldn’t be ignored.

How is it "where we're at"? Where is the epidemic of middle school suicides prior to the age of pediatric social/medical transition? Have you ever considered the constant talk of suicide might contribute to suicide contagion, a known phenomenon? Below both from CDC.pic.twitter.com/37mdOQ3qgQ
