Correction to Peter’s statement: most people who had *gender identity disorder* grew out of it. Don’t conflate publications that used GID diagnostic criteria with GD which has different diagnostic criteria. Again, give it 18 months to see what the data is on the new criteria.

You appear to agree that all 11 studies are entirely incorrect, but unwilling to say so. You appear also to agree that no study says what you think the next (hypothetical) one will, but unwilling to say that either.

No need to read between any lines in my comments. I am awaiting data on the changed diagnostic criteria. It’s. That. Simple. As you an SME on this topic, are you currently involved in any research? Publishing in academic peer review journal? Or just blogging & tweeting opinion?

Google me. I'm generally described as one of the world's top experts on atypical sexualities, have published in every top journal in my field, and served as editor-in-chief of my speciality's journal. Do you any background work before talking?

Honey, you know this is Twitter, right? If UR behaving like a troll here, what you do IRL is irrelevant. Sad since you could be having a scholarly interaction in a meaningful forum about GD - which really needs critical thought - but instead UR blogging & tweeting opinions

Please respond to any of the evidence or arguments presented. As already noted, you are just giving excuses for why you won't engage with the actual evidence.

Moreover, your professional practice would seem to put you in a financial conflict of interest here. That is, the more people who undergo transition, the larger your potential market.

A conflict of interest in the development of your political opinions. You are advocating for the rejection of every study in a favor of one that doesn't exist in support of a view that makes you money. Venue doesn't matter.

What do you call it when a gender clinician suddenly appears in a thread about 13 yr old girls being secretly provided breast binders by questionable orgs, to inject an unsubstantiated, inflammatory claim about suicide? Then refuses to answer questions about it?pic.twitter.com/kQKlJJb1oQ
