As the thesis also notes, Dutch also more accepting of homosexuality. All one need do is look at the number of young celebrity "trans kids" who came from conservative families (at least three come to mind). One was on the cover of National Geographic.

In light of this, it's fascinating that on Twitter (and likely elsewhere) UK trans activists have begun publicly attacking the Amsterdam group as too cautious in their approach to young children, which favors "watchful waiting" over early social transition.

The Dutch (Cohen-Kettenis, Steensma, et al) have written about the likelihood of gender-atypical kids growing up to be lesbian or gay. Have never seen a trans activist or parent of a young "trans child" ever mention this, as they clamor for earlier and earlier intervention. Why?
