Indeed; the first time I learned where babies came from, I was horrified. In fact, I didn't believe it. But when the encyclopedia confirmed, I realized that all was lost. ...Anything I had to say about sex at that time would have been rubbish.

Firstly, I find it bizarre that talking to a child about their future as an adult is in and of itself considered disrupting their development (while literally disrupting it is not)- children talk about that all the time including having children of their own.
