This complaint by parents to the NHS comes at the same time as parents raise concerns about the (even faster) fast-tracking of youth into gender transition in US clnics. Parents on both sides of the pond are crying foul. #AAP2018

And don't Mermaids advocate an even faster pace?

How ethical is it for a media to publish insulting responses to a letter without letting its readers read the letter itself?

This is wonderful and encouraging news. Particularly encouraging is the reference to concern about 17-25 year olds, with complex difficulties and/or autism, who are referred to adult clinics. They are still far from mature, yet are currently thrown in the deep end.pic.twitter.com/oAlgygxye2

A cover up. They have been forced to do a review bcos of complaints. They say that they don't like the "tone" of the parents letter, as it seems to them to be critical of gender transition. These *reviews* of institutional practices always have a pre-determined outcome.
