The article centers around a young woman who believed she was trans and her mother. The young woman desisted, admits social contagion played a part, & narrowly avoided medical intervention. Does her story count too? From your tweet it sounds like you don't think so. Shame on you. https://twitter.com/Collaterly/status/1040082627582078976 …

This MD is trans and appears to be unable to see that their experience may be quite different to many of our ROGD kids.pic.twitter.com/rSsn8oThEz

The lack of empathy shown here is all too common. Desisters & detransitioners, this is what the "trans community" has to offer you: Bald contempt. That thread started by
@TheEconomist is a pile-on by trans activists who can't abide even ONE article about ONE desister. - Show replies

Hostility against those who detransition or retransition is BS. You know what’s also BS? Not ralking about the >90% persistent rate group in your ROGD “study.” You guys have erased almost everyone in your study to focus almost exclusively on the <10%. Why?

Not going to get into a long back and forth with you, but riddle us this: Exactly how many desisters/regretters matter enough to be worthy of ONE article featuring them? THAT'S the point here, not how many in Littman's study currently ID as trans.
