This is what happens when our highest value is inclusiveness based upon our feelings...tyranny.

Stop apologising to these idiots. It just validates their argument.

I thought it was an interesting poem. What am I supposed to be outraged about?

Apology was gross, poem could be taken many ways depending on your experience. I grew up poor and took it as a commentary on wealth inequality and the performance required of the poor. Isn’t that what a good poem does, makes us think and not be quite sure what it means?

Does anyone know why people complained? I don’t get it.

The poet's apology is evn more pathetically groveling than that of his editors https://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2018/07/now-not-to/ …. Way to embolden these authoritarian shits. Evry time someone falls to their knees to beg forgiveness for the horrific crime of using forbidden words/ideas they get a power high

Is the abelist language seriously the use of cripple??? Reminds of the bullshit I sometimes see online saying ppl shouldn’t use “crazy” anymore. Excuse me as I, a mentally ill woman, call myself and anything else crazy all day.
