Flowing dress?? Maybe the baby is feeling hot.
What if you are in a different world culture that puts all babies in a tunic? What if you are in an African culture where all the girls have a buzz-cut hairstyle? How can they possibly express discomfort with their 'gender'?

I have never met a toddler that is 100% happy with hair clips and all 3 of mine strip naked at the 1st opportunity, what does that say about them?!

Incredibly appalling that a developmental psychologist would actually counsel parents that a BABY can show signs of being transgender, & that a baby pulling on hair clips is a sign. A baby! Hair clips! Just incredible. Ehrensaft is some kind of expert? People take her seriously?

this is what happens when society gives out degrees like its halloween candy.

In my experience babies yank all sorts of things from all parts of their bodies: hair decorations; clothes; nappies shoes; they often just don't want what adults put on them or they are just exploring their world or they are bored.... these people have clearly never had children

My baby pulled the snaps of his babygro undone all the time. He wasn't reflecting gender - he didn't like babygros. As a psychologist, I think her over generalisation of very usual behavioural development steps is deeply worrying.
