Any girl denied the absolute joy of climbing trees because of her sex has been psychologically abused and neglected. If my parents had told me that, i'd've demanded to be a boy too

That kind of parenting is so problematic. I remember hearing the CEO of Mermaids here in the UK saying she knew even at the early age of 18 months that her child was not a "normal boy" as he was so sensitive.
-
Because boys can’t be sensitive! We are all Marty McFly now. My son said “I want to be a girl” more than once. I said “Grand”. He spent 2 years identifying as
#DrWho 10 & wore a pinstripe suit & red sneakers ALL the time. Like a child! - Show replies

Well said Ruth. There is a push to make every child's gender a matter of scrutiny & debate. According to this article, parents are being advised to watch their child's gender presentation from the age of 3, and discuss with their doctors. http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2017/09/29/many_pediatricians_fail_their_transgender_patients.html …

Part of TODAY's problem is that GNC kids are often socially labeled as transgender, told they must be trans, etc. by parents, friends, teachers, relatives, etc. long before they set foot in a professional's office. GNC has been redefined as trans. Kids believe what they are told.
