Invitations on social media, from adult trans-identified people to minors, are not uncommon.pic.twitter.com/kODYrQyCsC
This has been going on for several years. https://transgenderreality.com/2015/03/20/ive-given-plenty-of-trans-girls-shots-from-my-supply-creepy-behavior-in-the-trans-community/ …
Here's another from a few minutes ago. @TheAtlantic interviewees included teen girls who **themselves said** they'd desisted from believing they were male. But this person is "losing sleep" over them & hopes they "find their way to us as soon as you can." Complete w/ heart emoji.pic.twitter.com/qvQM5M5PUi
Shedding crocodile cyber-tears, inviting our kids to contact them. The message: "Hey, teen girl I've never met. You ARE really a boy, even if you say you're not. Dump your parents and come find the trans glitter family."
I *entirely* support kids' right to decide on their gender -- that's sort of the beginning and end of the Trans Agenda, after all! I guess I shouldn't be shocked that you misread my point, given that you also misread my gender identity.
Why is it creepy for me to say, trans kids, there's a community out here that will support you? That is literally all I said, yet this Twitter account is accusing me of being a scary trans woman grooming kids. Isn't THAT creepy?
Your tweet said you're "losing sleep" over kids you've never met, in the "awful" Atlantic piece, who THEMSELVES say they desisted. Our account (4thWaveNow) doesn't accuse you of "grooming." We highlight your hubris & your call for them to "find us as soon as you can."
I am, to be clear, losing sleep over all of your kids, not the specific ones in the article. Lots of kids explore gender and decide they're cis. That's perfectly fine. That's what we support. But if they and their parents are misinformed about what their options are, that's sad.
It's like reading an article about antivaxxers who did their own "research" and decided their doctors are all in some weird conspiracy. PROBABLY their kids will be ok and not die of measles, but I can't help but worry, and feel sad that the parents are spreading untruths.
The respected affirmative gender therapist Laura Edwards-Leeper agreed that one of the featured teens--Delta--should wait to transition. Delta then desisted & now won't be a permanent medical patient. Stop lying about the article, and the parents and teens who were interviewed.
Again, I'm not claiming I know the gender identity of any specific kid. If Delta isn't trans, that's awesome for Delta. You think my goal here is to make every kid trans??
So explain, cogently, why your referred to the "fucking" Atlantic article in the way you did, as if it's some kind of outrage. Anyone not completely blinded by ideological bias would call it a balanced piece. Maybe think more like a mom and less like a virtue-signaling SJW?
