Sorry, you said "fucking" Atlantic article, not "awful." As a parent yourself, imagine if you did a good-faith interview, and righteous strangers on Twitter were presuming to know more about your family than you do? Maybe reread the article and respond in a more measured way.
I am, to be clear, losing sleep over all of your kids, not the specific ones in the article. Lots of kids explore gender and decide they're cis. That's perfectly fine. That's what we support. But if they and their parents are misinformed about what their options are, that's sad.
It's like reading an article about antivaxxers who did their own "research" and decided their doctors are all in some weird conspiracy. PROBABLY their kids will be ok and not die of measles, but I can't help but worry, and feel sad that the parents are spreading untruths.
