I'm all for examining, I study things down to the nooks & crannies. I saw that the biggest study you've relied on is based on parents not the kids. Kids are by fact often afraid to share feelings. The rapid onset claims of kids is quite parallel to an adult suddenly coming out.

If drastic medical interventions (and administering cross sex hormones, & in some cases, surgeries, to minors IS drastic) weren't part of this, you wouldn't be seeing this parent backlash. My point is you don't kno Jo. You don't know what her particular practice is or how her populations of patients her formed. If parents don't want kids to take drugs. Don't. If they do, go ahead. Pre transition is a tough state but it's not done causally. It's a brave hard life
