300+ people are marching. Organizers began the evening under the Burnside bridge explaining the history or genocide and exploit gay was began with Columbia and continues to today. Leaders explained that they have designated legal observers in the event of police brutality

I am separated from the main group, however while walking around there are multiple police cars on the broadway bridge. I can’t tell if these are the ones that passed me already downtown, or ones arriving from other precincts

One of the oddities of the evening was the large gap in time between the first LRAD announcement and tweet form the PPB that they knew that statues were being torn down and their actual response from my notes and their tweets almost exactly an hour.
