Seppuku/Harakiri is performed with a tanto, the person commiting it would be kneeling and then drag the blade across their abdomen. Sometimes a second person is there to lop off their head. The kitty in the pic is just drawing his blade to possibly fight.

Yes, but I was pointing out what Harakiri/Seppuku actually is. It's just as important to know certain things in other cultures.

I am not saying I am into suicide. I am saying it is important to understand things that are part of a different culture,seppuku is a part of Japanese culture but that is not the only thing I think people should learn. It is just relevant to the conversation at hand. That is all.
