  Me quedo con "Las Meninas" originales, las de Velásquez. De Picasso me agrada su obra, lo que no, es que fue amante de la mal llamada "fiesta taurina". Yo amo y defiendo a los animales.

  Velasquez was a much greater painter than Las Meninas makes one think. When painting court portraits, his brush is elegant, but somewhat dead. It's when he paints those on the fringes (peasants, but especially dwarfs, jesters and madmen) that his paintings spring to life.
