I can’t tell you how much fun this play was to view. Langella does a Dracula freak-out for the ages after a character thrusts out a cross ... then collects himself into a perfectly urbane gentleman. Brought down the house. And the Gorey sets (one item of red in each scene) ...
I'd like to tell everyone how much I enjoyed watching this play in '77 but as I had the flu that night, all I can remember was sticking my hand in my mouth & trying all I could do to keep from coughing up a lung during the play. Do remember the beautiful sets.
Well, you’re one ahead of most people. Those sets were inspiring, and the best thing on Broadway for a Gorey fan.
Hola :) tengo 23 años y me gustan los juguetes

I have a much beloved copy of The Dwindling Party. Gorey's macabre and mischievous imagination was delightful.pic.twitter.com/WkXeUIcRpB
