My Nana always have Christina’s World displayed and it intrigued me. Now, my youngest son is quadriplegic. This quote speaks to me. Here’s some history: https://bit.ly/2usnRRF #AlwaysHOPE #Mikeyismspic.twitter.com/7SAuaDbMZ5

Thank you Abby. Just what I needed this morning as I was sitting here feeling a bit melancholy. {{{hugs}}}
I kind of got rooked out of most of my Nana’s belongings when she passed... and then I completely understood why she had been telling me to take what I wanted for years. I did take a few things that were incredibly meaningful to her. Glad I did. Because when she was gone…1/2
...the relative vultures came out of the woodwork even though they hadn’t paid much attention to her for years. But one day, I saw a smaller Chiristina’s World print for a pittance and of course, took it home. The memory/significance is worth more than the item. #Priceless 2/2
I could've sworn that the farmhouse had three windows @The_HappyNoodle
The colors are so soft and light, but these paintings are so dark. Graceful and dark.
Christina's World is one of my favorite paintings, ever
I did a borderline Freudian analysis of Christine's World for my freshman year in high school. I stunned everyone with my elaborate way of explaining that she is in the field to free her emotions from trauma by sexual abuse. She looks back in fear when her reverie wasn't true.
I like the Andrew Wyeth paining with the dog lying on the bed
I don’t know this one?
oh, it's called Master Bedroom, which is a cute name Google image search it! :D
I loved the first thanks the comic The Preacher
Could be a book cover for your imagination.
Thanks for putting up 41 Strange- never seen these or heard of the artist. Love these pictures and will be exploring his work more.
