        It's not, but these paintings portray nothing. I've seen children's drawings of the same caliber. What about them makes you consider them "effective"?

        You're using the standards of realism/genres of art which portray the REPERSENTATIONAL with non-objectiveism artwork. it's like eating an orange and saying it's shit cause it doesn't taste like an apple. take an art appreciation course before commenting on something like this.
