I agree. I had extremely vivid nightmares growing up, and one would come back regularly: watching a giant cyclops devour my friends and family from the corner of my eye, until it would come for me, too.

Yeah. It's weird, though. I'm not sure I would trade the imagination I had for the knowledge of how to tell my mind to calm down. But maybe that's just because it's over now. Ten year old would probably decide the other way.
