Very Moomins-esque
I read that too quick and thought the Dutchman’s name was Cok Blok.
boromir is a pilgrim and legolas is a cosplayer that barely tried i love itpic.twitter.com/nP9P2WSPY6
Yes he was formative in my teens - there wasn't much to go on in terms of visuals in the Dutch language realm but he certainly created evocative visuals, with an air of mystery and oldness
Wonderful! Growing up in Birmingham. UK, means Tolkien was an enormous influence. First read LOTR when I was thirteen. Love to see Tolkien inspired art work from around the world. Especially like the picture of Bilbo finding the ring.
Delightful and very 1960s flavored.
Hmm. I don't like these. I feel like I'm supposed to like these. I'm an artist looking at old artwork that many ppl seem to enjoy and respect. But I feel guilty, because I think my kids could paint these better. I'm sure it's painted this way on purpose, but I don't like it.
The Fellowship looks like Spy vs. Spy
I get the first three, but what is going on in the forth?
A paralyzed Frodo taken by orcs after Shelob encounter, followed by Sam wielding Sting?
I think that is right.
Need a dark cartoon LOTR bad

my carpenter, with 30000 lire, would have done better
