I don't think this is quite correct, actually. A draug is an undead living in their grave, guarding their treasure, and have nothing to do with the sea. I think this one is a sea troll, painted by Theodor Kittelsen. I like your version of it as well, though.

Partly true.. Some of draugar are dragon-like and stay in the mound guarding their treasure but others are vampirelike and roam around killing the living, by either beating them to death, riding them, or dragging them into the grave. These victims then become draugar themselves.
