'Frau Perchta' is a Christmas Witch who comes to the children of Germany and Austria with a piece of silver if they were good and worked hard that year. If they didn't? She slits open their bellies, removing their organs, and replacing them with pebbles and straw.pic.twitter.com/O9A8NwZYdy

I live in germany and I've never heard of that before. Why would someone tell their children that this witch will come to their house and steal their organs if they are bad kids? Thats so cruel!

Krampus is mean too, no? They tell horrible stories to children everywhere. There is the man with a bag in Brazil :D I just remember that they used to say that he got kids and put them on his bag. Probably bad kids.

still you some Slavic mythology. Baba Yaga or Yagibiha, Yagishna it was the deity of death: a woman with a serpent's tail, which guarded the entrance to the underworld and saw off the souls of those who had died in the realm of the dead.pic.twitter.com/undJlzyFxp
