Please tell me there is a "The Dark Crystal" artbook!
The visual guide book pretty much covers it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dark-Crystal-Ultimate-Visual-History/dp/1785655922/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1512138739&sr=1-1&keywords=the+dark+crystal … Looking forward to the Netflix series too... https://nerdist.com/dark-crystal-henson-netflix-tv-series/ …
I used to have a heavy hardback book full of all these illustrations when I was a kid - both fascinated and scared the hell out of me at the same time.
I like the annoying noise done by the weird exiled vulture. And i imitate it when i enjoy doing something bad
mmMMMMMMmmm~
That Skeksi concept art is on point
If you like this I recommend getting Brian Frouds book on Goblins
It's magnificent. Great share.
I remember watching the movie, but I don't remember anything that happens in it.
“@41Strange: Concept Art by Brian Froud for Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal" pic.twitter.com/tZBjCEFVF1” such a good film
So cool
Just the other day, I found out that there is a lot of symbolism behind Dark Crystal. For instance, you know the kooky old woman with 3 eyes? Apparently she witnessed the beings divide and that's why one of her eyes are blind. Cool stuff.
Wow thwy are amazing
