The book is amazing, one of my lifetime favorites. It is absolutely inappropriate for children, both the movie and the book. I read it when I was a tween, younger than that, both book and film, nightmares for sure. Check it out, you'll think of rabbits in an entirely new way.

Beautiful book and film

Plague Dogs by the same author was made into a fine animated film I like it even better than this.
