After schooling you need to do a lot of unlearning before reeducating your self. Even lots of modern history is debatable. That Joseph Goebbels quote comes to mind 'If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth.'

Very true. It makes you wonder if we’re even doing education right these days? Or is it in fact outdated. Maybe a curriculum of discovery, research and questioning what others tell you would be more fitting and effective. Might end up with an informed public then though

I get it! Thanks. I’ll check out the article. I have dyslexia too, although I swear I didn’t have it when I was young. (Never had issues reading or writing, used to volunteer to teach the illiterate).
