I HAVE TO own this. "After Man" was my favorite book growing up. Got it at the San Diego Zoo in the late '80s and haven't been the same since...pic.twitter.com/CCV0OkDnMt

Very influential flightless bat idea. I think there’s a creature in Earth 2 like this.
fourth image looks heavily influenced by "Basket Case" (1982)
The first makes me think of the God Emperor of Dune (1981)
Throw in some Ousters from Hyperion too and we should be just about there.
Reminds me of "Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials"pic.twitter.com/1OnKooXUUe
That first image isn't from Man After Man, and the book covers a way larger span of time than that--its predecessor After Man is the one that's pegged to 50 million. For shame, probably-automated novelty account I've never heard of, for shame!
This account is actually really good

It already looks like this in Derby

Oh Captain..
I wish I had my copy, it’s not cheap to replace apparently on the searches I’m doing.
Same here. I guess there were allegations some of the concepts were plagiarized and it was allowed to go out of print.
I always wondered why!!! Thank you!
Your primitive mind cannot even conceive of the benefits here.
I’m just saying, 50 million years from now, you’re going to be so embarrassed about your tweet.
