I just read The Frank Book maybe a week ago. I had mixed feelings but generally liked it.

Yeah, I feel like I need to read The Frank Book again so I can get more out of it. The metaphors are there but can be opaque at times.

True. Also I feel like I might have entirely different interpretations of the metaphors than I did when I read it two or three years ago.

I just read Big Questions by Anders Nilsen, which I can safely recommend. Also, Hey Wait... by Jason is also great.
